Pre-orders are also open, of course, and the contents of the Ultimate Edition have been revealed, which will include many additional items for the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, as well as the free upgrade from last-gen to current-gen consoles. FIFA 22 will have on the cover the French player Kylian Mbappé (former cover man of FIFA 21) and, according to the words of Electronic Arts, will try to bring the simulation experience to peaks never reached before. We leave you the reveal trailer right below.

FIFA 22- between release date and very promising technical details

The game will be based on HyperMotion technology on next-gen consoles and on Google Stadia, thanks to which Electronic Arts has been able to improve the motion capture technology, used on 22 professional athletes who played at high intensity. Thanks also to EA’s new proprietary machine learning algorithm, the game will take inspiration from over 8.7 million frames of footage taken during real games to generate animations in real time and further increase realism. Of course, the most popular and characteristic modes are back, such as Career, VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs and the aforementioned FIFA Ultimate Team.

Further details on FIFA 22 will obviously be revealed in the course of the summer, but in the meantime we already have a release date and many technical details that look really promising.
