Fortnite Owners Sued For Copying Dance Moves

A video spreading online has shown how a dance move caused problems for Fortnite owners, Epic Games. One of the actors (Carlton) on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ whose real name is Alfonso Ribiero is suing Epic Games but he is not alone.

Ribiero is just one of the several individuals suing the company, claiming that “fortnite” copied a set of dance moves that originated with his character Carlton on “The Fresh Prince of Bell Air.” Now, a video is being promoted online and it shows just how much the Fortnite dance moves resemble the one in the NBD’s hit show.

The Carlton character was notorious for quick ecstatic dance move in some of the scenes. But he was more popular for doing the set of dance known as “The Carlton” which is now known as a fixture in modern culture.

Of course, many people have seen the picture or GIF of Ribiero cutting a rug. He is very much associated with the dance, so much so that when he appeared on Season 19 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2014, he did well on a polished version of his classic “Fresh Prince” moves, he won with his partner Witney Carson.

Now, the fans of Fortnite games have been able to see a version of Ribiero’s famous dance moves. People like to call it “The Fresh” and it is included in the massively popular game Fortnite.

As we all know, dance moves are very much important in the game. In fact, they have become a core component of the game. Even now, some kids take dance lessons that are specifically centered on the game.

Even before Ribiero sued Epic Games, some other individuals or group of individuals had done so, over the same dance moves.

The video shown online to big comparison and every who saw it could well see the similarities between Fortnite feat and the dance move in “Dancing With the Stars” in the year 2014. This video is really a damning indictment in the court of public opinion.
