Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have a new camera. Guess the MPs

The race for ultra-resolution cameras reached impressive numbers with the arrival of 108-megapixel cameras. The first smartphone to offer this huge module was the Xiaomi in the Mi Note 10 range. However, Samsung soon launched the Galaxy S20 Ultra with its own sensor with the same capacity. Now and according to information that is circulating in Korea, it seems that the Korean giant is not very satisfied with what this module and especially with what it can achieve. So you want to go even further. That said, the long-term goal is to provide a 600-megapixel image sensor that would be a real rival to the human eye. However, in the short term, we will have to settle for now with 250MP cameras. But this is not the camera that goes to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

According to sources close to Samsung, this manufacturer is already working on the 250-megapixel sensor. It may be up to an inch diagonally. I remember that the latest flagship of this company, the Galaxy S20 Ultra, has a sensor of 108 megapixels with 1 / 1.33 inches. However, the same sources claim that Samsung has practically completed the development of its 150-megapixel camera. In fact, we can expect the first smartphones with this camera module in the second half of 2020. If we have to bet on one of the chosen models, it should be the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

The Ultra range started with the S20 Ultra and Samsung’s goal is to make what’s inside it ultra-impressive. Now if this last model is the device of this manufacturer with the most advanced sensor, it is not surprising that the same happens with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In fact, it is the perfect choice for the new 150-megapixel camera. Still and looking at the example of the previous sensor, it may even be Xiaomi to bet on this module for one of the devices that will hit the market in the second half of the year.
