Gionee Mobile has announced the launch of the Gionee P8 Max that succeeds the Gionee P7 Max via its official Twitter account page with the tag line” New year. New ONE! #GioneeP8Max”, alongside the smartphone image.
The new P8 Max falls in the mid-range category of smartphones designed for low budget consumers.
Gionee P8 Max boasts premium and impressive features starting from its camera, performance configurations, battery and display which can serve well when on the run.
The Gionee P8 Max packs a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels (~ 267-ppi pixel density).
P8 Max has a Quad-core processor that clocks in at 1.5GHz which is also complemented with a 3GB RAM to handle multi-threading seamlessly. Gionee P8 Max has 32GB inbuilt storage with no option for outsourcing for additional memory via microSD card. The device boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system laced with Amigo 3.2 UI on top of it.
The P8 Max has a 13-megapixel rear camera which comes along with autofocus, LED flash, panorama, wide angle with 1080p video and for selfies or video chat, there is an 8-megapixel front camera in the phone.
Gionee P8 Max offers a non-removable 3,150 mAh battery which, the company claims, provides 290 hours of standby time. The smartphone supports dual SIM and is 4G enabled. WiFi, GPS/AGPS, micro USB and Bluetooth are there on the smartphone too.
