Google makes statement on the RAM management issues that plague Pixel 3

The list of the most sought-after phones cannot be made without the new Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL making the list. The phone is in eager demand amongst Android users as it has been an instant hit. However, despite the love it is getting, the phone has been hit with negative reports of RAM management issues which causes the enclosure of a line of apps from the RAM abruptly. A specific case that is given on Android Central describes how the Spotify music app which is playing in the background stops suddenly when taking a few photos on the camera application.

Responding to the issues that have been raised about the RAM management issue. Google has provided 9to5Google with an update which will be coming in subsequent weeks and would address the ongoing RAM management issue.

In the statement from Google, it says

“We are rolling out a software update in the coming weeks to keep background apps from being prematurely closed in certain situations”

Google also made it clear that the RAM management fix will not come in its November’s security patch which has left us to speculate that we would probably be getting the fix to the issue in the December OTA patch.
