If you don’t already know, Google digital well-being app is an app you can use to track, monitor and manage the time spent in apps and also set certain limit for certain apps on your android phone. The Google Digital Wellbeing app has been in beta for some time which meant you had to sign up for the beta using your Google account to make use of the app. Now you don’t have to do that as the app is finally out of beta, stable and ready for download. However, for you to be able to download the digital well-being app, your android device must be running on a stock unadulterated Version of Android Pie which includes Google Pixel devices and Android One devices.
Unfortunately, any device not running stock Android 9.0 Pie won’t be able to download and use the digital well-being app, at least for now. Hopefully, Google makes the app available for other Android device running customised Android OS. If you have a Google Pixel device or any Android One device running Android 9.0 Pie then you can simply head to the Google Play store right now, search for the “Digital Wellbeing” app and download. You should also know that the app, when downloaded, won’t show up on your home screen or app drawer. You’ll have to go through the settings Menu to access it. From here, you’ll be able to use the pie charts to monitor your total and individual app usage and manage them the way you want.
