The Gretel A9 is a new member of the Gretel A series, and the first online product produced by a Chinese professional telecom product and digital products manufacturer, Gretel. New Gretel A9 smartphone is warmly welcomed by phones clients all around the globe and sell well in many countries and regions, such as Europe, US, Africa and Australia, etc.
The mobile phone features a 4G LTE for faster internet browsing and download, and an efficient fingerprint sensor on the front. Gretel A9 runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box with Freeme OS on top instead of the more recent Android 7.0. The company, however, stated that the device will receive an upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat in April.
The Gretel A9 features a super slim matte black all metal body with micron sandblasting process which gives it a beautiful look and a good feel in hand. The phone comes in two colours; Grey and Pink.
Gretel A9 houses a compact 5.0-inch IPS HD 2.5D curved display that makes it comfortable to operate with one hand. It supports multitouch up to 5 fingers at a time with a screen resolution measuring 720 x 1280 pixels that enhance your gaming and video watching experience.
There are a provisional Samsung 3H7 13 megapixels back camera equipped with autofocus, a camera feature that fine-tunes the focus of the camera, it is an excellent feature of this smartphone. It also comes with a 5 megapixels front camera.
The A9 adopts a much safer, advanced and ultra-sensitive finger touch technology that is more accurate and much easier to unlock in just 0.02sec.
Gretel A9 is equipped with MT6737 Quad core 64bit CPU and packs a memory of 2GB RAM for improved multitasking. It has a 16GB built-in storage with support for up to 32GB memory card.
Under the hood is a Li-Ion 2300mAh battery which gives the smartphone a good battery backup. This is a low maintenance battery. No periodic discharge is needed, and charging can be done at random.
A9 is 3G and 4G capable. This smartphone has a built-in GPS receiver. This Gretel smartphone has FM radio receiver. The smartphone sensors measure physical quantities and transmit them to the application processor. The device accelerometer is a built-in electronic component that measures tilt and motion. The proximity sensor detects when a user is holding the phone near their face during a call and turns off the display to prevent keypad presses and battery consumption from the screen. The A9 has Dual SIM capability, which means that you can insert two different SIM cards and use them both from one phone.
