How To Create Reminders on HomePod using Siri

Aside from being able to use the HomePod to play music and control your HomeKit accessories, you can also use the Siri-based smart speaker to help you remain updated on certain things you do not want to skip your mind. Using Siri to create reminders on HomePod is just as simple as creating one on an iPhone or iPad. All you need to do is keep your command as precise as possible.

So, whether you want Siri to remind you to wish a friend the happy birthday or prompt you to carry an item with you to the office, it will get your work done smartly. All the reminders you created will be synced with your iPhone or iPad connected to the speaker (only if it has access to Messages, Contacts, Notes, and Reminders of your device). Just make sure that your iPhone and speaker are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

How To Create Reminders on HomePod using Siri.

  • “Hey Siri, remind me to complete my assignment.”
  • “Hey Siri, remind me to take the documents to the office tomorrow 9:00 a.m.”
  • “Hey Siri, remind me to get ready for Brad’s pool party on Saturday afternoon.”
  • “Hey Siri, remind me to call my mum when I leave the office.”
  • “Hey Siri, remind me to make toast tomorrow in the morning.”

You can also ask Siri to add items to your pre-set lists in Reminders app.

  • “Hey Siri, create a new shopping list.”
  • “Hey Siri, add cereals to my shopping list.”
  • “Hey Siri, what’s on my shopping list?”
  • “Hey Siri, remove ketchup from my shopping list.”
  • “Hey Siri, mark onions as completed on my shopping list.”

That is it!
