DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The Huawei Honor 6C smartphone comes with a finely polished metal body, a basic and not-too-loud design. The device’s frontal just houses the display, secondary speaker (for phone calls), secondary camera and the proximity sensor. Super simple! But I must say, the device has quote huge bezels, especially on the top and bottom of the display. The Huawei Honor 6C has a dimension of 143.5 x 69.9 x 7.6 mm, weighs only 135 grams and come in four different colour options; Gray, Gold, Silver, and White
The Huawei Honor 6C, despite it’s size, comes with a 2.5D curved High Definition (HD) glass display of size 5.0 inches. The display resolution is pegged at 720 x 1280 pixels and pixel density of 294 ppi. One thing the device lacks however is the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This heightens the chances of shattering or breaking the 2.5D curved glass. Buying an external Glass protector could solve this though.
PROCESSOR, OS AND STORAGE
Being a mid-range device, the Huawei used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC on the Honor 6C. It however manages to sport a large deal of RAM and internal memory. The Huawei Honor 6C comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage space which can be expanded using the second SIM card slot to up to a whopping 128 GB.
The device runs the Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with Octa core processors (4 running at a speed of 1.4 GHz, the other 4, 1.1 GHz).
CAMERA AND BATTERY
The Honor 6C comes with a single 13 Megapixel lens as the primary shooter, while the 5 Megapixel lens on the front is the secondary camera. The rear camera is above the fingerprint scanner and about the same size as it (the fingerprint sensor) and flanked to its left is a tiny LED flash light.
The Huawei Honor 6C is kept alive by the non-removable Lithium Polymer battery woth a capacity of 3,020 mAh. The battery can provide up to 12 hours of talk time and charges quickly due to the device’s inherent Quick charge technology.
