Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20X are here – all the details

The big day has arrived. Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20X will be launched in London today. It is expected that all three new smartphones have as a processor a HiSilicon Kirin 980 and are equipped with a triple rear camera, as well as a “notch” style waterdrop on the front.

The Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro should be the successors of the Mate 10 series launched last year, while the Mate 20X is practically the new “gaming” phone of the Chinese giant. It is said that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, among other models coming soon, has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display. In August, Huawei launched Mate 20 Lite as an entry-level model in the new Mate 20 range.

The price of Huawei Mate 20 in European markets is set at 799 euros, while the launch price of Mate 20 Pro is 1,080 euros. Huawei Mate 20 should debut in the Blue and Twilight color options, while the Mate 20 Pro could be sold in the Blue, Twilight and Black options. The price and color options of the Mate 20X have yet to be revealed.

Huawei Mate 20 will be equipped with a 6.43-inch full-HD + (1080 × 2244 pixels) panel, with a ratio of 18.7 – 9. The Kirin 980 processor will be combined with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of integrated memory. Also, a 4,000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the back are very likely. In addition, the smartphone will feature facial recognition technology and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Unlike Huawei Mate 20, it seems that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro works with EMUI 9.0 and Android 9.0 Pie and has a 6.39-inch QHD + OLED display (1440 × 3120 pixels). The smartphone will probably also have the Kirin 980 processor along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory. In addition, it could have a 4,200 mAh battery with support for SuperCharge 2.0.

As for the photo compartment, both phones should be equipped with a triple rear camera, which could include a 40-megapixel primary sensor, a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, and an ultra-wide 8-megapixel sensor.
