Huawei has made it official the Huawei P Smart S budget smartphone. The device is part of the P Series, and it comes with one of the best displays you will ever find on any budget device. Apart from that, it also has an excellent camera set-up, good battery, and average specifications.
Design And Display
The Huawei P Smart S has a decent body design that is similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro device. It has a smooth panel housing the cameras and an LED flash in a vertical order. The panel is built with all plastic and also on the frame. It measures 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm in dimensions and weight 163 grams.
Glad to know that it has an under-display fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop notch. The Huawei P Smart S has a screen display size of 6.3 inches under the OLED capacitive touchscreen. The screen packs a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 ratio, and 418 PPI density for clear visuals. Huawei says that the phone has 83.2% screen-to-body ratio and display protection.

As for the camera, it packs a triple rear camera set-up. The 48 MP is the primary shooter, another 8 MP ultrawide sensor and the 2 MP depth sensor are working together to ensure sharp and beautiful photos. It features LED flash, HDR, panorama and can shoot 1080p@30fps video resolution. The front camera of 16 MP can record HDR.
Underneath the budget phone is it’s own Kirin 710F chipset that is built on 12nm process technology. The chip has an octa-core processor with a frequency speed of 2.2 GHz and Mali-G51 MP4 for graphics. Booting the phone is an Android 10 operating system with EMUI 10.1 on top.

It comes with an internal storage of 128GB with 4GB RAM, and the memory is expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB. The sensors on the smartphone are Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
