Huawei Re-Added to SD Union Website

Last week, Huawei was removed from the list of members on the SD Association website.

The shadow of the trade war between the US and China hit Huawei, one of the country’s biggest brands last week. The US government banned US-based technology companies from working with Huawei for National Security purposes.

Google, AMD, and many other companies had a busy week suspending ties. As a result of these decisions, SD Union, a non-profit organization that sets the standards of memory cards all over the world, removed Huawei from its list of member companies.

This event is interpreted as Huawei can no longer use SD cards, but recently a new development took place. The union has added Huawei to its list of registered companies.
