The rumors about the upcoming Infinix Smartphone with a 16 GB ROM + 2 GB RAM which is also tagged as #TheHOTtestOne has been revealed as real when Infinix Mobility Launched the Infinix HOT 2 (x510) on 18th of Aug. and it is exclusively sold on JUMIA. The new Infinix HOT 2 is regarded as a re-mastered version of the old Infinix HOT thereby making it a big brother to the Infinix HOT. The HOT 2 comes in handy with some great specs and features that make it unique and awesome. Honestly, the new device came as a surprise to everyone. It now seems that Infinix Mobility had been doing great in the mobile market than any other brand in the country – there is almost no month that this Smartphone Company will not release a new device for its users.

The Infinix HOT 2 retains the 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor sported on the Infinix HOT, but with the 2GB RAM that should make things run more smoothly. The HOT 2 comes with promising Android 5.0 (Lollipop) which is seen as another big upgrade from the old HOT.

Infinix HOT 2 comes with same 5-inch display offering an awesome resolution of about 720 x 1280 pixels (294 ppi) while the old Infinix HOT comes with a 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The device measures a dimension of just 145 x 71.86 x 8.8mm having a thickness of 8.8mm. The phone has an increased camera of 8 megapixels camera and a 2 megapixels camera on the back and front respectively. It will come in 5 sweet colors – Blue, Black and Gold, White and Red.

Infinix HOT 2 is powered by a Mediatek Quad-Core chipset clocking at 1.3 GHz with Mali 400-MP2 to enable easy, smooth, and full use of your device for all tasks including browsing, listening to music, and gaming in high-res. Infinix HOT 2 is very similar to the old HOT version, except offering double the RAM. The 2GB RAM means the Infinix HOT 2 will run more smoothly as well as performs better when multitasking.

Another exciting feature of the new Infinix HOT 2 is the speaker which is capable of offering great sound. The Infinix HOT 2 promises up to 2 days battery life, thanks to its built-in 2200 mAh Li-Po battery. There is no news if this device is coming with the fast charging feature sported on some of the Infinix products.

The Infinix HOT 2 has WiFi, 3G, and 2G connectivity options. You can make video calls, share images, documents and more with your friends almost instantly on this smartphone.
