These months it was speculated that Apple was going to present a cheaper iPhone in its presentation event. Finally, these rumors have turned out to be true. This is the iPhone XR, a somewhat more modest in terms of specifications and with a sale price significantly lower than the other phones that the firm of Cupertino has presented today. What can we expect from it?
iPhone XR – The cheap iPhone is a reality
It is a model that differs from the other two iPhone by its specifications. In addition, it supposes the goodbye of the signature of the button Home in its telephones.

In this model, the Cupertino company is committed to an LCD screen with Liquid Retina. Despite being of a lower quality than the other two models, it is presented as the most complete LCD screen on the market. So Apple continues to stand out above other brands thanks to aspects like this. The phone has notch, and screen without just frames, with aluminum frames.
As a processor for this iPhone XR, we find the same as the other iPhone, A12 Bionic. A processor that gives the phone power and is efficient. In terms of RAM and storage, the phone has 3 GB of RAM and three storage options (64, 128 and 256 GB). So that the user can choose the one that best suits them all.
The iPhone XR has a unique rear camera, but not for that they will take bad pictures with it. It has a 12-megapixel camera with 1.4-micron pixels. It is the same lens that we see in the other models, only that this phone works alone. Again, it will be powered by AI, which will allow us to have additional modes with which to take better photos.
This phone also has Face ID, like the other models presented tonight. In all of them, the absence of the fingerprint sensor is striking. The company has taken an important step by betting solely on facial recognition as the main technology in telephones.

To be able to buy this phone we will have to wait a little longer. Although the rest of the devices are launched within a week, in the case of this model, it will be necessary to wait another month until it reaches stores.
