After a month of being announced, the European company went ahead to launch the Just5 Cosmo L808 on their official website today. The budget smartphone should be a “capable companion” to users, according to the company.

Design
Sporting an Aluminium-Titanium looking Metal case that exudes elegance and class. Budget smartphones don’t usually look this good, but I have to give it to Just5, they did pretty well with the design. There are two silver antenna lines at the top and bottom corner that glows in front of light.
At the top, the 16MP beauty sits like a king, the dual-LED flash follows closely underneath. After that, the fingerprint scanner is in its typical position, making it easy to unlock the phone without looking at the back. The Just5 logo is peng at the middle, turning over to the sides, it measures 8.6 mm in thickness. The Cosmo L808 is available in Silver, Gray and Red colors only.
Display
It doesn’t have physical navigation buttons at the bottom bezel, but the bezels are pretty much visible and annoying. Boasting of just 69.3% screen to body ratio, which is not up to 75% to be considered bezel-less. A selfie camera sits at the top bezel, with LED flash, speaker grille and ambient light sensor.
Speaking of the non-bezel-less screen, the 5.3-inch TFT IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is manageable. Boasting of just 480 x 960 pixels in resolution and a sharp 441 pixel per inch density thanks to its compactness. Protecting the 2.5D crystal screen is an Asahi glass.
Hardware and Software
The MediaTek MT6737WT chip presides underneath, with a 64-bit CPU architecture and 4-cores of processor. The Quad-core processor reaches a clock speed of 1.45 GHz, while the ARM Mali-T720 MP2 handles graphics and clocks at 600MHz with 28nm process technology.
Multitask through apps with 2GB of RAM space available with a memory of 733MHz. In the storage department, 16GB storage space is available for you to store all files, games and apps. Upgrade the storage space up to 64GB anytime you want, using a memory card. The Cosmo L808 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Camera
At the back, there’s a crystal clear 16MP rear camera that captures 4K resolution images with ease. The camera is pretty powerful and obviously one of the highlights of the device, able to take photographs with 4619 x 3464 pixels in dimension. Coming with a dual-LED flash and other features to help you out even in low light environment. For selfies, the 8MP selfie shooter with front flash is ideal for video calling at night.
Battery
Powering the Just5 Cosmo L808 is a 2500mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Even without the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2 hours tops to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.
