Lenovo K5

Sports a metal overall unibody that’s covered exquisitely in glass and glows in the presence of light. Lenovo is really stepping up their game in terms of design here, the K5 is a beauty to behold. Even though it looks like most midrange these days, especially the HiSense H11.

The dual rear camera are horizontal at the top left corner, with the LED flash sitting to the right. The fingerprint scanner is at the usual position, while the Lenovo logo sits at the bottom corner. Over to the sides, it measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 160g overall. In terms of coloring, you can get it in Blue, Black and Gray colors.

Lenovo is really having fun creating these bezel-less beauties, and it’s obvious they aren’t ready for the top-notch trend. Furthermore, the K5 has little top and bottom bezel, with no side bezels in sight.

The screen stretches up to 75.20% screen to body ratio and dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio. Speaking of the screen, the 5.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is pretty impressive. Boasting of 2160 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 282 pixel per inch density for clear visuals.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood sits the MediaTek MT6750V chipset with Octa-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-cores of processor reaches a clock speed of 1.5GHz with 28nm process technology offering a smooth ride. In charge of graphics is the ARM Mali-T860 MP2 graphics processor with 2-Cores.

For smooth multitasking, 3GB of RAM is available and has a memory speed of 667MHz. Store all your files in the 32GB storage space available and upgrade up to 128GB if you want. The K5 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with ZUI 3.1 Lite user interface.

At the rear, the dual 13MP + 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture captures 4K resolution images, coming with so many features, including a LED flash. With the Lenovo K5, easily capture photographs with a dimension of 4160 x 3120 pixels. At the top bezel, the 8MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture as well, ready for some selfie shoots.

Powering the Lenovo K5 is a 3000mAh Non-removable Li-Po battery with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, it shouldn’t take more than 2 hours to fully charge up the battery from 0% to 100%.

  1. Despite this is considered a mid-range, it’s still going to cost a bunch. The specs are high-end. The 18:9 aspect ratio makes the phone a hotcake to buy. All-in-all, Fantastic! ?

  2. Nice one! The Lenovo K5 with this amazing spec is indeed very affordable for a price range of N50000 to N60000 it’s a very great one from Lenovo
