LG V40 ThinQ should land around early October. And ‘this the tasty indiscretion that has begun to circulate in the last hours on the web – according to the rumor, the scheduled date for the launch of the new device of LG would be identified on October 5.
The launch of LG V40 ThinQ should take place in South Korea, and all this should be confirmed by the same company at a public event to be held around mid-September.
One of the most important details that emerge from these latest rumors is the size of the screen. LG V40 ThinQ, in fact, should present itself with a 90% “screen-to-body” ratio – a truly remarkable result, considering that one of the top-of-the-range recently presented by LG, the G7 ThinQ, had stopped at ‘83%, while LG V30, launched in August last year, had a screen/body ratio of 81%.
In addition to revealing the launch date, the latest report states that the triple camera configuration available on the back of the LG V40 ThinQ will include 20-megapixel, 16-megapixel, and 13-megapixel sensors. Most likely the phone will also have two sensors located on the front side, which will enable the functionality of 3D facial recognition similar to the system TrueDepth Apple that feeds Face ID on iPhone X.
LG V40 ThinQ will almost certainly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. This chip was the most popular in this 2018, as we found it in most of the tops presented during this year. Snapdragon 845 is an exceptional processor in many ways – primarily the performance, but also the camera processing, battery life, and other non-secondary details.
Most likely LG V40 ThinQ will be equipped with an OLED display. As for the price, the company has not yet provided any details, but it is likely that the amount needed for the ThinQ V40 is around $ 1,000 (about € 858).
