The Xiaomi released for smartphone Mi 8 upgrade to the custom interface version of MIUI 10.1.2.0. The new update comes with some photo features in Mi Mix 3, the high-end device launched in October 2018.
One such news is what the Chinese manufacturer calls “Super Night Scene,” a night mode that captures 8 photos in different exposure settings. After that, it brings together all these different images to generate a final, brighter picture.
Already the other great feature that comes straight from Mi Mix 3 to Mi 8 is the super slow motion at 960fps. This allows the image to be 32 times slower without losing its fluidity. Previously, the Mi 8 only had a choice of 240fps – or just 8 times of slow-motion.
According to Xiaomi, the next device to receive the update with the night mode modes and the super slow-motion of 960fps will be the Mi 8 Pro.
