Notch Pie App brings battery line to smartphones with Notch “drop of water”

The Notch Pie app brings something you’ve been asking for on smartphones for a long time. An extra feature for the notch. Notch is a necessary evil, at least for now. As time progresses and technology evolves we see it increasingly becoming smaller.

The latest trend is the notch “Drop of Water”. Notches such as OnePlus 6T, Redmi Note 7, Mi 9 or Huawei P30. Small cutouts only for the front camera of the device.

This new application can give a bit more functionality to a cut that little pleases the public by introducing a battery line at the top of the screen.

Notch Pie gives more life to smartphone notches

Battery lines are something I’ve been using for some time now. I have, for example, the “PowerLine” application for most smartphones. However, this application is not yet ready for notches, this is where the Notch Pie application comes in.

I must say that the application is far from finished. I hope so. I had some bugs installing the battery line on the Huawei P30 Pro and I even had to use the OnePlus 6T. That is, the probability of encountering small bugs is natural.

Then the line activation processing is not the best. Even though it is simple, you have to put the line manually with a set that takes an eternity to drag.

However, the end result is acceptable. The notch line could (and should) have more colors, however, it’s still in beta. That is, I fully understand the small limitation.

Still, if you’re like me and like to walk around with everything in beta, do not delay installing the APK that can be installed on the XDA Developers website here.
