The company has also experienced a severe protest against its data collection policies. Google has taken this step after receiving much feedback in making the management of collected data more simpler.

Now you can easily auto delete your location tracking data and web browsing history. In an official Google’s blog post, Google has announced that the company is going to soon release auto delete controls of your location history and activity data in coming weeks. Using this tool, you can easily set a time limit between 3 to 18 months and the data which will be older than this limit will be automatically deleted from the user’s account.

However, this feature is already there but the method is manual. You can go to your Google Account to access easily on/off controls for location history, web and app activity. And the tool for this is coming soon. You can also opt-out of Google services but you will no longer receive google recommendations and features.

The auto-delete tool will look forward to deleting saved data including Google’s Location History, Google Chrome Browser History and the search queries made on Google Maps automatically. The tool will be made available in the coming weeks.
