(PlayStation 5 price) Sony is testing consumers!

Don’t you think it’s strange that prices for Sony’s new generation console have popped up all over the place? Especially when we take into account that even the gigantic Amazon ‘leaked’ the price 2 or 3x, always showing different prices.

All of this raises a question… Is Sony testing the reaction of consumers, to see how far it can go?

Therefore, I have already said several times that leaks have ceased to be simple leaks of information many good years ago. After all, most of these getaways are simple marketing tools or ways to do market research without anyone suspecting, to easily find out what consumers want in their lives.

That said, there are several strategies! For example, in the world of smartphones, it is completely normal to start hearing about a smartphone 6 months before its launch, especially when the product of a rival brand has just come out. Do you think it’s by chance? None of this, the manufacturers themselves put information out there to capture consumers’ attention to their products.

However, in the case of PS5, there is no need to draw more attention, since the console has been in everyone’s mouth for months. In this case, Sony just wants to know how consumers react to prices. Is 600 € an exaggeration? Or is it possible that the most expensive model can be launched at this price, while the digital version is at 550 €, presenting a ‘discount’ of 50 €? Is 50 € less enough to convince consumers to opt for a console without a Blu-Ray player? Everything Sony needs to know to decide the final price of the PlayStation 5 once and for all.

In addition to all this, you can also bet that Microsoft is very attentive to the situation since the brand has not yet announced the final price of the Xbox Series X.
