Samsung Bixby can now identify songs (like Shazam)

Samsung is delivering more and more new features for Bixby, which are quite useful basics. After looking for available bikes to borrow, there is another feature.

Because Samsung Bixby has now learned the recognition of songs. This fulfills another basic feature that basically works just like the ever-popular app Shazam.

However, Samsung does not rely on Shazam as a search app but uses its own solution called music search. To use this service, you just have to either hold down the Bixby key and say the command “What’s the name of this song” or “Hi Bixby, what’s the name of this song”?

Even if everything sounds great, the thing has a catch. To my mind, the music search with the help of Bixby is quite slow. Competitors like Shazam are traveling much faster here. However, if you do not like using Shazam since the app has been part of Apple for quite some time, Bixby is a good alternative.
