Samsung has finally announced the Samsung A series in China. The company debuted the devices with an impressive body design and good camera setup. The phones include the Samsung Galaxy A40S, the Samsung Galaxy A60, Galaxy A70, and the Galaxy A80 which features triple rear cameras and rotating front snapper.
Galaxy A40S
The Samsung Galaxy A40S comes with a similar body design with the Samsung Galaxy M30 smartphone. It’s just like a rebranded of the Galaxy M30. It was launched in China with 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity U display. The notch on the front host a front camera of 16MP which is for selfies and video calling.
The device is built with 14nm Exynos 7904 processor coupled with an ample RAM of 6GB and internal memory of 64GB which is expandable via micro SD card. The camera on the Galaxy A40S includes 13MP primary camera, a 5MP super wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth camera. It has a massive nonremovable battery capacity of 5000 mAh with 15W fast charging. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone. The Samsung Galaxy A40S is priced at $224.
Samsung Galaxy A60
The Samsung Galaxy A60 was also announced with great specifications. The handset features 6.7-inch FHD+ punch hole LCD panel with a front camera of 32MP. The maker claimed that the phone has up to 92% screen to body ratio and the punch hole is smaller at 4.8mm. This means the phone has a smaller punch hole than the Galaxy A8S and the Honor View 20 smartphone. It does not come with a traditional speaker at the top just like the Galaxy A80.
The Samsung Galaxy A60 has a triple rear camera of 32MP primary lens, an 8MP super wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP depth lens. Fueling the phone is Snapdragon 675 processor paired with a huge 6GB RAM and internal memory of 128GB. The battery on the inside is 3500 mAh and it comes with fast charging technology. The phone has a fingerprint scanner and it will sell at a price of $299.
Apart from these two phones, Samsung also announced the Galaxy A70 with a price tag of $374 for the 6GB + 128GB storage and the 8GB + 128GB version at a price of $418.
