Samsung Galaxy A6s and Galaxy A9s are the latest smartphones to make their way into the Chinese market. These phones, launched without too much clamor in the Asian country, are both powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. In particular, the Galaxy A9s seems to be the Chinese variant of the newly launched Galaxy A9, starting with the quad camera located at the rear.
Both phones come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated storage, and the design is mainly characterized by Samsung’s Super AMOLED Infinity Display.
Samsung Galaxy A6s sports a 6-inch Super-AMOLED Full HD + Infinity Display. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of integrated storage space. Storage space is expandable via microSD card. The phone also has a dual rear camera, with two 12MP sensors (both with f / 1.8 openings), and a 24-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy A9s, on the other hand, sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD + Super AMOLED Infinity display, and is equipped with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip, combined with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated storage space. Also present support for the expansion of external memory via microSD card (up to 512 GB).
As for the photo sector, Galaxy A9s sports a quadruple camera similar to the one we saw on the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). The rear camera has a 24-megapixel sensor (aperture f / 1.7), a wide-angle 8-megapixel sensor (aperture f / 2.4), a 10-megapixel telephoto lens (aperture f / 2.4) and another 5-megapixel sensor (aperture f / 2.2).
On the front, however, the phone is equipped with a sensor for a 24-megapixel camera with f / 2.0 aperture. The phone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in addition to supporting the “Face Unlock”. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Even the battery is identical to the Galaxy A9 – we are facing a 3.800 mAh, equipped with a quick charge.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A6s was set at 1799 Yuan (about 227 euros) for the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB and 2,199 Yuan (about 277 euros) memory variant for the 6 GB RAM / 128 GB memory model. Samsung Galaxy A9s, on the other hand, has a starting price of 3,499 yuan (about 441 euros) for the only 6 GB RAM / 128 GB memory model.
