Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime equally sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels and 2.5D glass cover on top. The entire device has a dimension of 151.5 x 74.9 x 8.1mm. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 chip that uses the 14nm FinFET process. The processor is complemented by a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable.

On the software, the Galaxy J7 Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner on board, and a cool 3300 mAh battery provides the DC power needs.
