Samsung Galaxy Note 10 – everything we think we know about the next flagship of the S-Pen

Were talking the other day of the seasonality of some pitches, and he has earned the hype to pulse is the Note that for some years we convene the first week of August. A date that we have every day closer and that is why it is worth reviewing everything we hope to see in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

The exact date- August 7. Earlier this month the company made public the call to Unpacked in which it is expected to make known its flagship faithfully accompanied with the S Pen. Although yes, we do not talk about Note, but Notes.

Frame reduction and perforated screen

The Samsung Galaxy S were among the first to star in design with very small frames, helped in some way by the Edge line and its curved screens that maximize that feeling of minimal edges. Following that trail, but more specifically the one we saw in the Samsung Galaxy S10, we will also see screens bored in the Note, according to the leaks.

The reduction of frames and the perforated screen in the center would be confirmed, at least according to what we have seen in various leaks among which are some of the most recent of Evan Blass. In the images published by the well-known filter, we saw more angled corners, rounded sides and an even more protagonist screen that show a unibody design, consolidated and with continuity.

Thus, the Note would inherit the bored Infinity-O screen (the manufacturer’s own name) and talk about a change in the aspect ratio. As noted by some benchmarks, the Note 10 would go from 18.5- 9 of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to 19- 9 which also have the S10.

What we do not see in any filtered image is the 3.5 mm jack, which would coincide with previous leaks that indicated that this connector would disappear for the first time in the Note series. In this way, on the edges of the smartphone, we would see the entrance of the S Pen, the speaker and microphone slots, the buttons (with one for Bixby) and the SIM tray.

Some images that show that there would be at least a Note 10+, following the nomenclature we already saw in the Samsung Galaxy S10 +, although Blass himself did not talk about two models, but three Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Which would also fit with the variety that those benchmarks we mentioned before showed.

As for the aesthetics, it seems that the Note will be uploaded to the gradient car and that in its back we will see a holographic gradient that at least in one of the colors shows pink, turquoise and cyan tones. Renders have also been seen with a more classic black finish, so maybe we will see two colorful lines to satisfy more types of audiences.

Vertical cameras and battery according to size

It is assumed that the differences between one model and the other will be in some of the internal components, cameras, and 5G compatibility. Perhaps we will see a scheme similar to the differentiation between the Galaxy S10, starting from the same processor and varying in RAM and battery.

Thus, it is expected that this new flagship of the manufacturer integrates a Snapdragon 855+ at least for one of its configurations, perhaps with an equivalent with the new Exynos 9825 for other markets (following this particular tradition in Samsung smartphones). On the battery, the leaks mention 4,300 mAh for the Note 10+, and 3,500 mAh for the Note 10, with storage that would go to the terabyte of internal memory (without the need for microSD) for the larger model.

For that apparent Note 10e we talk about a 3,400 mAh battery. It would be smaller than the Note 9 (4,000 mAh) and equivalent to that of the standard S10, and also according to Forbes the Note 10 (without specifying model) will have the UFS 3.0 system that we already saw (until we could in the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

It is expected that they mount three rear cameras (varying in configuration), changing another of the traditions in the first-line Galaxy- the camera scheme would no longer go vertically, but horizontally. Probably the sensors and optics are similar to those of the S10 +, hoping to see the triad’s fashionable bet with a standard objective, a telephoto lens, and a wide-angle.

Presumably, they will have the variable aperture that we have still seen in their range tops. But there was also talk of four rear cameras (which in fact we saw in a mid-range Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) ) adding to the three that we mentioned a Time of Flight sensor, remaining for the 10+ model according to the latest information from Roland Quand t.

The least talked about is the S Pen, which had a bit more prominence with last year’s update with the Note 9. For this one, a new function called Air Mouse is rumored, related to the S Pen playing the role of mouse at a greater distance (along with gestures) in combination with a new mode called DeX Live. It would count, once again, with 4,096 pressure points, as well as with a 0.7 m tip, IP68 certification and 70 mm latency.

From 1,000 euros

The models are expected to start from 256 GB of storage and a starting price of 999 euros, according to one of the most recent leaks by Roland Quandt (known filter and editor in WinFuture). According to Quandt, the new Note would double the internal storage base of the previous one from those 256 GB, probably with the option of reaching 1 TB of storage, leaving a 128 GB version for certain markets (perhaps that hypothetical Note 10e).

Thus, what is speculated is that the price of the standard Note 10 would start at 999 euros and that of the Note 10+ at 1,149 euros. Now there is less to leave doubts, and as always we will tell you everything in detail from TechVaz.
