The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is the Samsung’s newest affordable tablet which is now official in some countries. Samsung Mobile trademarked this device earlier this year, and the promotional images of the newly Galaxy Tab E tablet was leaked last week.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E with model number (SM-T560) is an entry-level 9.6inch TFT LCD display tablet from Samsung. It comes with a resolution of 800×1280 pixels and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat which is starting to look a bit outdated instead of the rumored Android Lollipop OS. A powerful non-removable 5000mAh battery is packed with the device. It measures 9.5″ x 5.9″ x 0.33″ and weighs 1.1 pounds. It has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera without flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab E features 1.3GHz quad-core processor (possibly a Spreadtrum SC7730SE), 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of built in storage which can further be expanded to up to 128GB with a microSD card. It’s a Wi-Fi only device, but Samsung will most probably launch another variant (SM-T561) with cellular connectivity option in the near future. It is available in Taiwan at a price of about $225.
