Over the past few years, we have seen the tablet market perform quite poorly due to the availability of phablet-sized smartphones. Even with that, however, some of the biggest OEMs like Apple and Samsung have kept producing high-end tablets. Samsung is currently working on a new high-end tablet and it was just spotted on Geekbench.
It has the model name, Samsung SM-T976B on Geekbench but experts say the device is the anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. Just a few days ago, the tablet received Bluetooth SIG under the same model name. From what we gathered from Geekbench, the flagship Galaxy Tab S7+ will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. This chipset is otherwise known as “Kona.” It will also pack 6 GB of Ram but there is the possibility of Samsung launching higher variants.
From the Bluetooth SIG certification of the tablet, we learned that the tablet will come with support for Bluetooth 5.0. Past reports have said that the tablet has a Wi-Fi only version whose model number is SM-T970 while the 4G variant’s model number is SM-T975. When Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6, it made the 5G variant available only in South Korea but reports suggest that Samsung may launch the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G in markets like Europe and the US.
There are rumors that suggest that the Galaxy S7+ will come packed with a huge 12.4-inch S-AMOLED screen. We expect the display to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. According to a recent leak, the Tab S7+’s display will come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It also packs Android 10 out of the box as well as a mammoth 9,800mAh battery.
