Samsung Prepares to Unveil A Smartphone Under $100 For US Fans

Flagship smartphones came into our lives with so much pump and awe. They remained interesting for several years but now they are becoming so boring that some of us would love to go way back to where we began.

Surely, as the end of 2018 comes around, smartphones are getting increased displays without having their body size increased. So you could hear such things as “all screens” designs. Of course, there are other cool things about smartphones. These cool things are what made smartphones to become more expensive.

In a few weeks, we will all move into 2019 and this will bring with it, new smartphone designs and more exciting features. For instance, Samsung’s foldable phones are expected in that year and other smartphone makers will also release their own foldable smartphones.

It is also in 2024 that we are likely to see new features such those that will do away with the notch. Probably, when that happens, we will be able to tell if it was pretty or not.

Therefore, for all we have seen in previous years and until now, it appears that there is a huge downside to all the exciting features assigned to smartphones, which also makes the flagship ones so expensive, way higher than many people in the world to afford.

These flagship devices recently have risen to more than $1,000 USD. For example, the devices from top smartphone vendors are now selling around $1,500 or $2,000. Meanwhile, there are entry level smartphones out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg. People can easily go for these entry level phones because they are cheaper and do many nice things a smartphone owner would require.

For this reason, Samsung has revealed that it is going to release a device in the name of Samsung Galaxy J2 Core. It has been approved by FCC and also certified already by WiFi Alliance and could be released soon in the US.

The Galaxy J2 Core is selling for about $90 USD in other markets and most appropriately will sell for less than $100 even on the US markets. Also, it will arrive on a kind of Android Go that is fully optimized to make the device run smoothly.
