Sony Vaio Duo 11 Convertible Laptop Review

The Sony Vaio Duo 11 aims to switch between its two personalities effortlessly but does it accomplish this task?

Design

If you’re familiar with the Xperia android line of tablets this design won’t be unfamiliar. It’s on the heavy side though for a tablet at 135g.

Sony-2

The Ethernet port closes up when not in use and you also find a VGA and HDMI ports if you want to connect to a larger screen we also have two USBs and a multicard reader. For those who love Webcam features, a full HD Webcam has been made available by Sony.

Sony also has embedded a keyboard on the Vaio laptop as it does so. The keyboard works well and is very decent when typing but doesn’t feel particularly sturdy.

Performance

The 11.6-inch full HD display is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen looks very beautiful to look at and you can reduce the screen resolution in the settings to fit your basic needs. The screen isn’t detachable though but the touch screen is very responsive, and fast to react too.

It comes with a stylus for drawing or writing whatever you want but unfortunately there’s no compartment to slot the stylus pen into. So you’ll need to remember to carry it around wherever you’re going.
