In just over a month there will be the Mobile World Congress 2019 which will undoubtedly include among its main protagonists Sony, which will present a world premiere of the new top of the range Sony Xperia XZ4, coming out later by the end of March. The smartphone will have a new display in 21- 9 that can count on an OLED panel and a diagonal of 6.5 inches.
According to Sony Vice President of Marketing, Don Mesa, during the Spanish fair, there might not be the debut of the new Xperia XZ4 Compact, already at the center of several rumors in recent months. The executive Sony, in fact, has hinted that users now prefer larger smartphones and a “Compact” would not meet the needs of potential buyers.
Although this is not official confirmation, it is possible that the Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact has been canceled and that, in future, Sony will no longer make smartphones of the Compact line, preferring to top the range, in this case, the new XZ4, a new mid-range generation.
At the Mobile World Congress, in fact, there will also be the debut of the new mid-range of the Xperia XA3 line and the entry-level Xperia L3. Further details on Sony’s new features at the Barcelona fair will come in the next few days.
