As early as August 2018, Spotify announced that Spotify has been named Samsung’s new go-to music provider, offering its users a seamless listening experience with multiple devices, including Spotify. Today they announced the next step. As of March 8, Spotify will be preinstalled on Samsung’s latest mobile devices (Galaxy S10, S10 +, S10e, S10 5G, Galaxy Fold, and select Galaxy A), allowing music and podcast fans to sign up for Spotify immediately after signing up to start listening. In the US, new users get six months of premium for free. For users of Spotify, this means- the app is immediately on board, for everyone else it is something they may not get rid of – bloatware halt.
