It’s less than four months since Swipe Technologies launched a successor to its budget Elite 2 smartphone, the Swipe Elite 2 Plus, and now the series has been updated with a new budget smartphone called the Swipe Elite 3.
As you would expect, the Swipe Elite 3 improves on the features of the last member of the series. However, it remains a budget smartphone and still sports some low-end specs.
Swipe Elite 3 Specifications, Review and Highlights
The Swipe Elite 3 comes with a 5-inch display with an HD (1280 * 720) pixel resolution. Despite the fact that it has a battery capacity of just 2500mAh, the phone is 9.1 millimetres thick.
The Elite 3 is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, and a Mali 400 GPU which handles aspects like frame rate. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via its microSD slot.
The phone sports an 8MP camera with LED flash at the rear, and a 5MP selfie shooter at the front. It comes with a dual SIM slot and supports 4G LTE networks with Voice-over-LTE functionality.
The Swipe Elite 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, just like most of the members of the Swipe Elite series of smartphones.
