Ulefone has been in the rugged smartphone game for long. The company has been successful in manufacturing rugged devices. More importantly, the Armor editions have been successful so far. Now, the company has introduced the second rugged device in 2024. It is called Ulefone Armor 7E. The previously released is the Armor X7. Armor 7E was announced on the first day of April 2020.

For one thing, Ulefone is fond of manufacturing black phones. This Ulefone Armor 7E is no different. It is a rugged design in the sense that if it falls it is not likely to get damaged. It can also be submerged in water and still be safe. However, the device is heavy. It is weighing 290 grams. The battery adds to the weight very much. Dimensions are 165.9 x 81 x 13.6 mm.

The screen size of Ulefone Armor 7E in inches is 6.3. This is a capacitive touchscreen display, that appears with water drop effects. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels. Also, the pixel density is 409 PPI.

MediaTek MT6779 Helio P90. It offers super speed with CPU 2.2 GHz. The GPU is PowerVR GM9446. In this way, the Ulefone Armor 7E is position for good operations even when it gets intensive.

There are three cameras to the rear of Ulefone Armor 7E. The primary one there is 48 MP. It is supported by two other equal 2 MP. The aperture for these are 1.7. But at the front for selfies, there is 16 MP. This one has higher aperture of 2.0. The rear cameras have LED flash but that is absent in the selfie camera. Maximum video performance is 2160p. Other camera features are auto focus, digital zoom, panorama, HDR, etc.
Ulefone Armor 7E Price
The new Ulefone Armor 7E sells for $219. That is a pre-order price which has begun from March 27th. It sells for more than N83,000 in Nigeria.
The Verdict
Ulefone Armor 7E keeps pushing features up but this is not the case with the operating system. We hope users should be able to upgrade to Android 10 soon. However, the external storage size is really massive. The phone also has NFC and other good features for anyone looking for not just a beautiful but durable device.
