Ulefone X has been made official by the company, this is Ulefone’s reply to Apple’s iPhone X. The company has been teasing the Ulefone X for a while, it’s now available on shopping stores. It comes with the notched screen, iPhone X-like dual camera and supports wireless charging.
Internally, the device doesn’t shy away from tasks, it’s packs 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space, an octa-core processor, while the Helio P23 is onboard. There’s support for Face ID, fast charging as well as 4G LTE connectivity. Lets see what else the Ulefone X has to offer.
Design
The smartphone has a Metallic build which is quite stunning to look at, it’s also covered in glass which reflects light beautifully. First thing you’d notice at the back, is the iPhone X-like dual camera sitting pretty at the top left corner.
In-between the cameras lies the dual-LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner is in its usual position even though there’s Face ID. It’s quite bulky to the sides, measuring 9.1mm in thickness and weighing 165g overall. You can get it in Black, Blue, Gold and Silver colors.
Display
The Ulefone X is another affordable alternative if you really want to feel the notch and all its features. The notch here still looks like the one on the iPhone X, quite long and droopy. Although it seems Ulefone didn’t know how to completely get rid of the bottom bezel just yet.
Focusing on the screen now, without the notch. You get a 5.85-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that displays stunning visuals. The screen has 1512 x 720 pixels in resolution and 286 pixel per inch density, delivering clear videos. It has GFF full lamination and stretches up to 78% screen-to-body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio P23 chip is in charge with an Octa-Core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 8-Cores of processor here runs at a fast speed of 2.0GHz with 16nm process technology. While the ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics processor onboard clocks at 770MHz with 2-Cores.
Launch your favourite heavy apps and multitask through them all with 4GB RAM space available. It has a memory speed of 933 MHz as well and 64GB storage space. If you need more space then you have to let go of a SIM space and upgrade up to 128GB. Ulefone X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Camera
At the rear, the cameras are 16MP + 5MP sensors with f/2.2 aperture. The cameras comes with OIS, optical zoom, HDR, ISO settings, 5P lens, dual tone LED flash and other Internal features. While the 13MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture comes with its LED flash and supports Face ID.
Battery
Powering the Ulefone X is a 3300mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with fast and wireless charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.9 hours.
