VKworld S8 made its entry into the smartphone market yesterday and present specs that will make the big guys step up their games. This smartphone further states the obvious that Chinese OEMs got no chill when it comes to ejecting smashing smartphones. Its memory segment looks like the major stunner; you’ll get amazed when you notice some other drop-dead divas in its technical features. As a movie director would say, “Tape rolling, action!”
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
VKworld S8 is a pretty smartphone. Its aesthetic from left and right looks tempting to the eyes. Even more, its rear is built with tempered glass. Below the tempered glass, a metal plate comes below to act as a solid rock when it hits the ground accidentally. Reports have it that you can even crack a walnut on it. The smartphone’s fore is heavily protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4. In this sense, VKworld can be referred to as a rugged device with a beautiful framework.
The screen’s display has 5.99 inches size with a resolution of 2160 * 1080 pixels. The pixel density of the smartphone is 403 ppi. The smartphone has a Full HD+ display and possesses the 2.5D Curved Glass screen. It has a display area of 78.38% screen-to-body ratio.
HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND MEMORY
ARM Cortex-A53 CPU is what powers the smartphone. This CPU has 8 cores and clocks at 1.5GHz. MediaTek MT6750T is the system-on-chip present on the smartphone. The operating system of the device is the Android v7.0 Nougat OS. The memory section is partitioned into two; the first being the RAM with the second being the ROM. The RAM handles the smartphone’s multi-tasking and it has a high 4GB capacity. The ROM has 128GB holding prowess to store files. And of course yes, it has an expandable capacity of 128GB if a micro SD card is employed.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
A dual camera setup which consists of a 16MP primary shooter and a secondary 5MP shooter is responsible for executing photos from the rear. A LED flash support brightens images when taken in low light conditions. The front camera has a single 13MP Sony Exmor Sensor for capturing selfies. No LED flash support at the front.
The smartphone has a large non-removable 5,500mAh battery that gives 18 hours talk time. The battery is non-removable and a Lithium Polymer battery type.
