Wiko K-kool is one of the latest smart phones from French phone manufacturer, Wiko. The K-kool adopts a cool name, continuing in Wiko’s spectacular ways of naming their phones.

Wiko K-kool features a 5-inch IPS touch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and packs a moderate 2000mAh battery.
Wiko K-kool is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor which coordinates all functions of the phone. On the aspect of the memory, the K-kool features a 512MB and 1GB variant of RAM sizes, offered differently in different markets. Just like most of its peers, the phone comes with 16GB of internal storage space which can be expanded up to 64GB.
Talking about the camera, Wiko K-kool sports a rather disappointing 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. The selfie camera is said to have the ability to detect a smiling face and then automatically take a snapshot.

As stated earlier, Wiko K-kool was unveiled in February 2016 and has not shipped to Nigeria. It is speculated that whenever the device touches down in Nigeria, it may likely be priced in the range of 25,000 – 37,000 Naira.
Our Take
In summary the K-kool can be nothing but a low-end device, considering the specs it boasts of. It is rather disheartening that there’s a 512MB RAM version which relegates the phone to a no-go zone if you’re looking for a phone to play your favorite mobile game or run all your social media apps at once. The camera aspect also bears some disappointment with the rear unit only managing a 5MP camera and a 2MP snapper up front. Wiko promises users some wonderful experience, that is marketing. This one might give you a horrible experience in the long run.
