Blu released the Blu Vivo X and Vivo One last week quietly and both device are already available on Shopping stores. They were expected to make a debut at the 2018 Mobile World Congress, but looks like the company couldn’t wait any longer. The Blu Vivo X comes with four cameras as well as 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The smartphone is as powerful on the inside as it is beautiful on the outside as well. Its official, meet the Blu Vivo X.
Design
I think by now every smartphone company has a ‘X’ device or planning on creating one. The X device is meant to stand out from your previous smartphone, at least in terms of design. The dual rear camera might be the deal breaker here, adding a sleek look to the back. With the dual-LED flash right beside it, all on top of the antenna line.
A mix of Aluminium alloy and Plastic, the device is beautiful and stunning as well. It measures 8.2 mm slim, which is where the volume keys and power button lies. It has a smooth back which is very comfortable to hold and flaunt, it weighs 188g overall. The Black version of device is popular on Shopping stores, but you can still get it in Rose-Gold, Gold and Silver colors.
Display
It is bezel-less with Full View display, there’s no narrow bezels in sight. I have to say i’m really impressed with Blu, the top and bottom bezels are very tiny, the screen reached 75.8% screen to body ratio. The top bezel houses the dual selfie shooter from Sony, speaker grille and a front LED flash.
The 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen offers a Full View display and boasts of 1440 x 720 pixels in resolution. The 2.5D curved glass screen has a pixel per inch density of 268. Protecting the screen is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which offers scratch resistant as well.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757CD chip with Octa-Core processor. The processor on the Vivo X reaches a speed of 2.6GHz for fast performance. In the graphics department, the ARM Mali-T880 MP2 processor is in charge with 4-Cores. The graphics processor boasts of a clock speed of 900Hz and a 28nm process technology.
It comes with a massive 4GB RAM space for fast multitasking and App launching. The RAM reaches a maximum memory speed of 1600MHz for smooth multitasking. For storage, there’s a 64GB internal storage space available, which is also upgradeable up to 128GB. To upgrade, you’ll have to insert the external memory card in the SIM slot 2. The Vivo X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with modified user interface.
Camera
This is the highlight of the device, Quad cameras, two at the back and two at the front. The 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera has f/2.0 aperture and captures 4K resolution images. It comes with a dual-LED flash and other features like autofocus, continuous shooting, touch focus which helps in taking photographs with 4160 x 3120 pixels in dimension.
Record 1080pixels of videos at 30 frames per second, and take selfies from any corner with the dual selfie camera. The 20MP + 8MP Sony IMX376 Exmor RS CMOS Sensor has a 1.0um pixel size, 1/2.78 inch sensor Size and 130 degree wide angle lens, which is perfect for group selfies.
Battery
Powering the Blu Vivo X is a 4010mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology support. Without the feature, it might take up to 3 hours to fully charge the battery on the Blu Vivo X.
