The Android Go range expands with the arrival of the new Wiko Y80, a new smartphone that arrives at a price of just 99 euros. The device has not yet been officially announced by Wiko but the insider Roland Quandt has already assumed all the details on the project (price included) releasing also the first image that you find at the top of the article.
Unlike the vast majority of Android Go, the new Wiko device can count on 2 GB of RAM, making it a decidedly more interesting purchase than its “colleagues” with the lighter version of Android developed by Google for cheap smartphones.
To manage the operation of the new Wiko Y80 is the Unisoc SC9863A SoC with Octa-Core CPU (ARM Cortez-A55 1.6GHz + 1.2GHz). Among the technical specifications, we find, instead, an IPS display with HD + resolution and a diagonal of 5.99 inches. The basic version of the smartphone will be able to count on 16 GB of storage even if a 32 GB variant is also provided.
To complete the technical sheet we find a dual camera (13 Megapixel main sensor and 2 Megapixel secondary sensor for depth), a 5 Megapixel front camera, Dual SIM and 4G LTE support and an excellent 4,000 mAh battery. There is no fingerprint sensor.
In the coming days, the official announcement and the first information on the release date should arrive.
