Windows 10 October 2024 Update Now Available

Windows 10 users had a very hard time to update their Windows around October/ November 2018. Microsoft had to re-release the update though some users had to change keys severally in what became to hectic for users to cope with.

The company finally tells users that the update is complete. Clearly, the major release is now available for all who want it. An update message on the update history page offers the following information regarding it. Microsoft explains that the Windows, version 1809 is now fully available for advanced users who manually select “Check for Updates.”

Little wonder, some users reported having issues with the updates as many could not conclude the update as expected. They had to re-try so many times until all the updates were completed.

It is recommended that any Windows 10 PC user that was unable to update their Windows can now do so.

Even for Microsoft, the latest update has been the biggest hassle for the company in recent times. It had to pause the rollout after a file deletion bug came up. But the firm also clarified that the rollout will be a bit slower than expected. The reason for this is to examine the device health data. Users can still check updates while this is going on.

So those who are not in a hurry to get the update can wait until a later, more convenient time when the update may work faster. It is believed that it is better for users to wait for Microsoft to push the update to their PC.

There are some PCs that cannot receive this update for now and these are the ones that come with incompatible Intel display drivers, AMD Radeon HD2000 and HD4000 series graphic processor units or GPUs. Microsoft is still in partnership with some other companies to fix the issues.

Some users who had a problem with updating their Windows 10 said after they left it, sometime later, the Windows corrected automatically, especially when the user connected it to the internet. It may not be the same for everyone but to get the best of the update, it may be best to wait a while before doing so.
