The company has established an African Regional Department to take on Transition Holdings just like Infinix, iTel, and Tecno. It’s not quite long when Fero Mobile exist the country, and now Xiaomi is coming into the country. To be honest, it’s a thing of Joy. At least the competition will be high which will bring down the cost of smartphones across the country.

The company has already shared a teaser on their Facebook page for the event. The poster shows a smartphone that looks like the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and two major landmarks in the city of Lagos. The image is dark, so we can not tell for sure if it’s the Xiaomi Mi 9 or another product. The Xiaomi Mi 9 is a flagship phone from the company that features triple rear cameras. It comes in many variants which include the Mi 9 Transparent Edition, Mi 9 SE. However, it’s only the Mi 9 and the Mi 9 SE that is global.

On Twitter, they also shared photos at the manufacturer’s 9th-anniversary celebration in Nigeria. So the Xiaomi Nigeria already have the phone and it will make more sense if they officially announced the device on the event. They have started sending an invitation already for the event promising to invite 30 lucky Mi fans on Facebook. The Redmi Note 7 will be announced on the event which comes with a waterdrop notch and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.
