A revealing new leak on China’s social media site, Weibo has given more details about the specifications and features of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 which is expected to pop any time from now. Some rumored specs of the phone were leaked in March this year, some of which align with the latest leaked specs.

Display, Processor & Memory
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is touted to sport a 5.7 inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display which is similar to that on the Mi Note Pro. Some other rumor speculates that the Mi Note 2 will come in two variants – one with a 1080p display and a high end version with 2K curved display. The device is also expected to features a 3D Touch display and will also have a metal body design.
The device would be powered by either a Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 823 processor and will come in 4GB or 6GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB or 128GB storage options. However, it is speculated that a 256GB variant is also in the works.
Camera, Battery
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 packs a 12-megapixel dual rear facing camera setup with Sony’s IMX295 sensor and a 5-megapixel front facing “selfie” camera. The phone is said to have a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support and will also come with a fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be available in three variants viz, 4GB RAM/32GB, 6GB RAM/ 64GB and 6GB RAM/128GB storage costing 2,499 yuan ( US$375/ Rs. 25277 in India), 2,999 yuan (US$450/ Rs. 30333 in India), and 3,499 yuan (US$525/ Rs. 35388 in India) respectively.
