Nintendo Switch owners may expect to get an inclusion of Youtube on their consoles this month of November. If it is true, then they should expect it to land on November eight.
This is not surprising, as Nintendo Switch has been seen making waves since its release in the year 2017. Since then, many top-tier game titles were released for the hybrid console, though it still does not have some of the many popular apps that fans can find elsewhere.
One of these rare apps is Youtube. Things are looking up now, as it appears that this gap may be filled in the very near future. In fact, at the present time, we got words that some Nintendo Switch users have seen the Youtube icon appearing in the ‘suggested’ section of the Nintendo online portal. That page states that the Youtube app will be available on November eight. If that is not a direct confirmation, it however appears that it is something foreseeable in the near future; even this week.
No official hint yet from Nintendo or Youtube, but previously, Netflix and Youtube functionality was previously listed on a BestBuy Nintendo Switch. The listing was later edited and the two services were removed.
After Youtube has been included, probably, Netflix may be the next to be added to Nintendo Switch. Yes, even with its solid gaming line-up and the new games coming to the Switch, it will be something worthwhile to add to the console’s feature. It would not be anything bad if the users can relax and watch a few videos in between gaming times.
As we write, Hulu is the only streaming service available to users of Nintendo Switch, plus that is even only available in the USA. Youtube is a much popular streaming service, known everywhere in the world and its inclusion will make much sense. If Youtube service does indeed show up on the Switch on November 8, it surely will herald a period of more and more services for the console.
Probably, after that, likes of Spotify and Amazon Prime Video may show up in the future too. There is also a possibility that the Youtube service can be docked to a TV while connected on Nintendo, giving users the opportunity to get music up on the TV big screens.
