ZTE Blade L130 Quick Review, Specs/Features & Price

If you’re looking to buy a phone for your teenager who is just starting out to use a smartphone, this ZTE Blade L130 is a good fit. The phone, which arrived at the market in the month of May 2019 is a true entry level device devoid of any impressive qualities. It is small, lightweight, and in so many ways suggests that it is made for young people.

ZTE Blade L130 Design and Display

This ZTE Blade L130 is made of plastic materials but these are powerful. Somehow, users are said to enjoy “clicking selfies” with this device. Dimensions are 65 x 126 x 10.9 mm and it weighs 123 grams. No waterproof design here at all.

On the display there is TFT capacitive touchscreen glass. The size of the display is 4 inches which definitely is not one of the largest, but the resolution is commensurate at 480 x 800 which to me is a good enough resolution for a screen this large. Also noted is the regular 16 million colors in the display, there is also multi-touch experience, 233 ppi for pixel density; and for protection, it seems that the phone is limited in this.

Camera Features

This ZTE Blade L130 is a dual camera phone. The main rear camera is 5.04 MP and it is able to produce images of 2592 x 1944 pixels, while the video quality shows 1280 x 720 pixels. There is single LED flash here and for selfies there is a 1.31 MP front camera which also arrives in its own unique features coupled with other features.

Hardware and Software

ZTE Blade L130 runs on Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition on modified user interface. It surely can update to any future Android, for it is a smartphone released in 2024. In the same way, this smartphone is also powered by the Spreadtrum SC7731E chipset. The CPU is ARM Quad core 2.0 GHz single ARM Cortex-A53 Cores 4. But the GPU is ARM Mali T820 MP1 Cores 1.

Storage Capacity and Sensors

This smartphone storage capacity is 512MB of RAM of which the user is able to expand. The internal storage is made up of 8GB and we quickly realize that it is not as powerful that of many other ZTE phones. However, the user can increase storage with the aid of microSD card. Sensor here in this mobile phone is accelerometer.

Network and Connectivity

This phone brings along all the features of a 4G Android smartphone and all other components such as Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and others like these. There is no NFC, but there is headphone jack. Interestingly, this mobile phone too is able to switch over from one network to the other because the user doesn’t even need to stress over when to search for the best available network present in a certain location. It makes use of two nano SIM cards.

Battery Power

Powering the ZTE Blade L130 device is Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery which is removable. That’s a good thing for backup considering the makeup of the phone. Further, there is no wireless charging and no fast charging technology herein. But this battery may last for up to two days on a stretch.

Price and Availability

ZTE Blade L130 smartphone official price at launch time was $43. Price changes may make it harder to find it that way always. As for availability, the smartphone is out from the factory since May 2019.
