What we have gathered from the rumors over the past few weeks is that Samsung plans to release two devices in the Galaxy Note 20 series this year. These devices include the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20+. A few weeks ago, we had spotted a device named “Galaxy Note 20 Ultra” at the database of Bluetooth SIG. Then, we thought Samsung might launch the Note 20+ as the Note 20 Ultra. What we have gathered from fresh information is that the Note 20 series may include three smartphones including the Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Plus, and Note 20 Ultra. We were also able to get details of the display of these smartphones.
Wide frame + flat screen + FHD resolution + 60Hz refresh rate.
It's a desperate specification.????— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) June 17, 2020
Popular tipster, Ice Universe, shared a tweet that says the Note 20 will feature a flat screen that comes with support for Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The phone is effectively a Note 20 ‘Lite” and there is a bit of margin between its specs and the specs of the Note 20 Ultra. According to Ice Universe, the specs of the Note 20 are even much lower than the specs of the Note 20 which was released last year.
This suggests that the Note 20 will be the cheapest phone in the lineup. It was also revealed by the tipster that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus and Note 20 Ultra will both feature 120Hz LTPO touchscreen displays with Quad HD+ resolution. From the CAD renders we got from OnLeaks, the screen of the Note 20 has a punch-hole design which houses a selfie camera.
According to recent rumors, the rear of the Note 20+ features a triple camera setup which includes a 108 MP primary camera with 50x zoom support.
There have been hints suggesting that the Note 20 series will be officially launched on the 5th of August. We also expect Samsung to launch the Galaxy Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G on the same date.
