ZTE, who just released another version to its Nubia Z series – Nubia Z17 is the maker of this incredible device. Its OS is a fresh one as at the time the tablet got released. However, one thing that comes as a surprise is the tablet’s low memory capacity. The tablet is a budget device but should have been offered better in that category. DESIGN AND DISPLAY
ZTE is a top OEM, so therefore their design is definitely top. ZTE Grand X View 2 has a cool outlook and smooth rear. Its entire body engrossed in metal has shiny curved edges. The frontal has dual speakers t the top bezel and the bottom bezel. In the top bezel, the other occupants are the front camera and ambient light sensor. The rear of the tablet serves as home to the primary camera and ZTE logo. The only dedicated keys on the tablet are the volume buttons and the power button. There is also the presence of a 3.5 mm audio jack. The tablet’s dimensions are 215 mm length x 125 mm width x 9.4 mm thickness. The tablet PC has a light weight of 330 g. This makes the device very portable and comfortable to handle. The tablet PC comes in a single Black colour.
Grand X View 2 has an average 8.0 inches display. Its display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. As this takes care of the screen’s sharpness, it has the support of a 189 ppi pixel density. This tablet’s display ha the multi-touch input and 16 million display colours. This IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is found in a display area of 69%.
HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND MEMORY
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset is present on the tablet. Its CPU is the ARM Cortex A7 CPU with four cores. The tablet’s CPU clocks at 1.3GHz and makes use of the 28nm process technology. The graphics production is the sole role of Qualcomm Adreno 304 GPU. The RAM of the tablet is a low 1GB. The storage of files and documents is handled by the 8GB ROM. It can be expanded to a max of 128GB with the adoption of a micro SD card. The tablet runs on the Android v7.1.1 Nougat OS.
