DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The Acer Iconia Talk S is a 7.0 inch sized device. The device has dimension 191.7 x 101 x 9.4 mm and is somewhere in between being a phone and a tablet. Call it a phone, or you could call it a phablet, anyone that suits you. But left to me, any device beyond the 6.0 inch size is a mini tablet. Being a big device, the device weighs a massive 260 grams. This can be attributed to the big battery and screen size.
The 7.0 inch display is an IPS capacitive touchscreen and has a moderate 720 x 1280 pixels. Being a large screen device, the pixel density comes in at a small 210 pixel per inch. Not much should be expected from the display but it will definitely perfect decently. The mini tablet comes with no protection for the screen and it is also very fragile and break easily. PROCESSOR, OS AND STORAGE
The Acer Iconia Talk S runs on a Mediatek MT8735 System-on-Chip and a 1.3 GHz Octa core processor. The Iconia Talk S comes out of the box running the Android v6.0 Marshmallow operating system and 2 GB of RAM.
The tablet comes in two different variants with 16GB and 32 GB. There is no much of physical or observable differences between the two versions as they both come in only Black colour. There is a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion up to 128 GB on both variants.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
The Acer Iconia Talk S comes with dual cameras; one on the front and one at the back. The rear camera is a 13 MP lens while the secondary camera on the front is a 2 MP lens. Unfortunately, both shooters do not come with LED flash light but you can solve that by purchasing a LED case with LED light.
