Presently, the 5G network coverage is limited to Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Lagos. Airtel has expressed plans to expand the service to other regions of the country in the near future. They are also expected to introduce additional 5G products, including a portable router. For now, let’s focus on the price and setup process of the currently available Airtel 5G router.

Setting Up the Airtel 5G Router

The setup process is straightforward. Simply plug the router into a power source and toggle the power button to turn it on. It will take a few minutes to complete the loading process, after which it will be ready for use. The router is designed to be used in cases where your phone does not support 5G, but you still require the speed it offers. Depending on your preferences, you can switch between 5G and 4G connectivity on the router. LED indicators on the router will provide you with information about its status while in use.
