Samsung just announced at its developer conference that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, S9+ and S9 will be getting the latest and up-to-date iteration of Android (9.0 Pie) Come January. However, an open beta program will be available later this month for those who want to get an early taste it. The open beta will first be available for users of the aforementioned Samsung devices in the Us, South Korea and Germany but will later be open to other users in other European as well as other Asian countries.
As expected, the update will pack all of the new Android 9.0 Pie features along with some extra added features from Samsung. Also, the Samsung Experience UI interface is also being scrapped, or should i say re-invented under a new name – One IU, so a lot of changes in terms of User interface is ought to be expected. The new UI is aimed at making the overall user experience on Samsung devices a lot more better than the previous UI but I guess we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves. We’ll be here to let you know when the open beta program as well as the official rollout of the Android 9.0 Pie with the new One UI starts.
