ASUS, a Chinese based company had held a launch in an event in Spain a few weeks ago and at the event, the company launched the Zenfone 6 as its latest flagship device. Apart from the amazing specs which the phone features, according to the USP of the phone, the Zenfone 6 comes with a unique pop-up camera.
Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce site created a landing page for the phone and this means that that the phone will soon be launched in India. Tech Radar says that an anonymous source revealed to it that the Zenfone 6 might be officially released in India on June 16. However, we do not have any confirmation yet by the company itself.
On the landing page of the Zenfone 6 on Flipkart, there are plenty of details about the phone including its specs and features. According to the page, the Zenfone 6 features a 6.4-inch NanoEdge Display and it comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset. A Sony IMX586 48-megapixel camera is mounted on the rear of the phone housed by a flip camera system. The phone also packs a 5000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.0.
The 48 MP primary camera on the phone is supported by a 13 MP sensor which features a 125-degree field of view. Laser autofocus and dual-LED flash can also be found in the camera module. The rear cameras can be flipped to act as selfie cameras. This helps the phone capture top-notch selfies. The photography section of the phone comes with amazing features like Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, Super Night Scene Mode, 4K video shooting at 60 fps with EIS, up to 480fps slow-motion video recording and time-lapse. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on its rear.
The phone comes with Gorilla Glass 6 protection over its notchless display. Its display also supports HDR10 and DCI-P3 color gamut. Its screen to body ratio is 92%. In terms of memory, the phone comes equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The phone has a lower variant which comes with 5 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The two variants of the Zenfone 6 are expected to hit the market with euros (~$556) and 599 euros (~$668) price tags respectively.
